This auction is for a brand new Epiphone Thunderbird 1V bass guitar that has been kindly donated to us by www.guitarampkeyboard.comin order to raise additional funds for Cancer Research UK.

The proceeds from the sale of this guitar will be pooled with the final figure raised from the sale of my 9 year old daughter’s CD and another charity auction for two amazing prize bundles including tickets to a Wishbone Ash gig with memorabilia and an incredible London rock festival called High Voltage to be held in the summer this year. As can be seen in the photo, this guitar is very similar to the one played by Martin Turner, the founding member of Wishbone Ash. Martin has endorsed this auction and has even offered to sign the guitar if the winning bidder would like him to. If you would prefer it to remain unsigned however, this is also fine, just make your wishes clear at the close of the auction.

The Epiphone Thunderbird 1V Reverse Bass is Epiphone’s most distinctive bass guitar to date. The Thunderbird features the classic reverse body styling and dual humbuckers just like the Gibson originals!. The Thunderbird 1V features an alder body and a 34 inch scale bolt on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and dot inlays, and warm and dual TB Plus humbucking pickups.
